Transport Fever 3 wiki
Plan land, sea and air from 1900 into the 2030s.
Transport Fever 3 is Urban Games' 2026 transport tycoon, published by Paradox Interactive while the Swiss studio keeps the IP. You start with horse-drawn wagons, steam trains and paddle-steamers and grow into high-speed rail, helicopters, cargo trams and supertankers. The launch SKU is 29 September 2026 on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Steam still marks the store page as coming soon, but the date, editions and system requirements are the ones Urban Games and Paradox posted for that day.
Use this atlas to pick an edition, match cargo to the right vehicle class, and tune tycoon sliders before the first map. Urban Games has not published a 275-name roster or the 37 individual cargo names, so the hub stays on systems that are in the official FAQ, Steam feature list and First Look / Dev Blog posts: four cargo classes, onshore and offshore industries, eight campaign missions, mixed-biome maps, and a mod.io browser instead of Steam Workshop.
Chaptered trailer
Urban Games posted the release trailer on the official Transport Fever channel as the motion picture for the 29 September SKU. The upload shows helicopters over water, mixed rail and road, and the date lock. Nothing from YouTube loads until you click the facade; the player then uses youtube-nocookie. Treat the film as orientation, not as a stats sheet: it does not name the 275 vehicles or the 37 cargo types.
If you need class-by-class motion, the vehicle trailer lives on the vehicles page and the cinematic announce film sits on the news log. The dated release cut is the first click so it matches the launch question on the Steam store.

Official stills
The plates below are exclusive Steam shots on the hub: key art, a street tram, high-speed rail, a harbour, a desert yard and a tropical waterfront. Each caption names what you are looking at in the frame. Later pages use their own stills so the same photograph does not repeat as decoration.

What launches on 29 September

Paradox Interactive joined as publisher on 6 May 2026; the studio remains independent and keeps the IP. Start on Vehicles if you need the class list. Urban Games says both 275+ and 300+ realistic vehicles; both figures are listed on the vehicles page. Helicopters and cargo trams are new to the series. Trams can run underground and as tram-trains. Deluxe adds Concorde, a London Bus, Trans-Europe Express, Peterbilt 359, a Hong Kong Tram and the Sikorsky S-76 Spirit.
Then read Cargo. Dev Blog Episode 2 puts 37 types into liquid, bulk, flatbed and goods. Cargo stays at origin until you collect it; specialised vehicles load their class faster. Towns begin with simple demand such as fish, vegetables or planks and later want up to six complex end products. Industries add offshore fishing grounds and oil platforms among more than thirty production sites.
If you care about liveability before profit, open Tycoon. Reputation, noise, pollution, traffic, maintenance, loans and a modular headquarters all sit on sliders you can ease or disable. Campaign is eight historic missions and the first missions are the tutorial. Modes also cover sandbox with the economy off and an in-game map editor that shares through the mod browser.
Climate, platforms and mods
Maps mix temperate, desert, tropical and a new subarctic region on a node-based generator, with weather and a full day-night cycle. Citizens have homes, jobs and places to go. Deluxe animals include a boar family, bison, a Komodo dragon and an orca; the pre-order elephant sits in tropical maps. Details live on Climate zones.
PC minimum is Windows 10 64-bit or Ubuntu 24.04, an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X with AVX2, 8 GB RAM, a GTX 1060 / RX 480 / Arc A380-class 4 GB GPU, and a 90 GB SSD. Mac is Apple Silicon only: macOS Sequoia 15.7, M2 Pro and 16 GB at minimum. Full rows are on Platforms. Mods no longer use Steam Workshop; a cross-platform in-game browser on mod.io serves PC and consoles, with a paid Curated Mods Program for day-one packs. That policy is on Mods.
The Steam store advertises achievements and full controller support, but the community achievements page is empty before launch, so there is no icon roster to browse yet. There is no multiplayer: Urban Games says the sequel is single-player until that experience is finished. Dated posts from the May 2025 announce through the 10 September 2026 tycoon overview sit on News.
