Transport Fever 3 release date is 29 September 2026. Urban Games locked that day on 25 August 2026 together with Deluxe, Collector's and the Transport Fever 2 loyalty discount. The sequel itself was announced on 21 May 2025 with a cinematic trailer aimed at 2026 PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Paradox Interactive became publisher on 6 May 2026; Urban Games keeps the IP.

This log only uses Urban Games, Paradox, Steam news and official YouTube. Launch-week reviews exist, but Steam still flags the store SKU as coming soon. Closed beta signup ended 18 June 2025 after more than 30,000 applicants; new testers were not taken after that.

What each post actually changed

May 2025 named the sequel and the cinematic. It did not lock a day or a Deluxe list. Closed beta interest opened after that and closed 18 June 2025; Urban Games later cited more than 30,000 applicants and stopped taking new testers. That beta is closed history, not a live signup, and it does not return as a public test around launch.

6 May 2026 put Paradox on the box without moving the IP. 25 August 2026 is the operational post: 29 September, three editions, Queen Mary pre-order pack, 10 percent loyalty for Transport Fever 2 owners for fourteen days after launch, and GOG beside Steam and Epic. 10 September 2026 explained the tycoon sliders in public, including that they can be turned down.

Gamescom demos and First Look episodes (environment, cargo, infrastructure, tycoon, vehicles) sit under those dates as films, not as extra patch notes. The English official posts are the ones quoted here.

Launch week versus the store toggle

PC press posted launch-week reviews, including PCGamesN on 25 September 2026. Steam still flags the store SKU as coming soon with the 29 September 2026 date. Treat that flag as a listing state, not as a second calendar. The announced date remains 29 September 2026 on PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, matching the overlay on the hub hero.

Third-hand Metacritic numbers and Wikipedia budget figures are outside this log. If a day-one patch note appears on Steam news or transportfever3.com/news, it belongs here as a new dated row next to the tycoon overview.

Official Instagram, X, Facebook and Bilibili accounts exist. Player-facing changes are posted on the Steam news hub and the official news index. Those two feeds are the ones linked in Sources.

What to watch next

After 29 September, the useful posts are patch notes, curated mod pack names, and any official vehicle or cargo roster. Until those exist, the systems pages stay on the August–September 2026 announced set: editions, classes, sliders, climates and storefronts. First Look films already on those pages do not count as patch notes.

If Steam fills the achievements community page, those icons can populate a later register. It is empty now. If Epic publishes a readable price without a login wall, that figure can join the platforms table beside Steam and GOG.

Loyalty buyers have fourteen days after launch to claim 10 percent off Standard and Deluxe on the same platform they own Transport Fever 2. That window is part of the 25 August post. Collector's is not described as part of that cut. Watch Steam news and transportfever3.com/news for patch notes after 29 September. Loyalty buyers have fourteen days after launch for the 10 percent Standard and Deluxe cut on the same platform they own Transport Fever 2.
